There is no justification for any Christian to vote anything but God's word...no support for abortion, no support for same sex marriage, no support for any anti-Israel rhetoric. Those issues alone should settle it for all Christians. Unfortunately, there are still many people (including many Christians) who remain so socially idealistic that they believe all the pablum being spewed about the government taking care of the middle class. As for me, I don't need taking care of by the government, because I have the Lord, and He has my back.

I know who I am voting for....and I am hoping he really will bring REAL CHANGE, and not be a wolf in sheep's clothing!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7696793288837890265.post-81110924750052942502012-11-04T10:21:32.733-08:002012-11-04T10:21:32.733-08:00Chuck, you are to be commended for articulating yo...Chuck, you are to be commended for articulating your viewpoint, (with which I happen to agree) and having done so without antagonism. As you state, one cannot just let things "go" because "it's in God's hands", which if one were to take that to the unintended extreme, we could extrapolate not even bother to vote. GOD FORBID! Many died to have that right on these our shores. It is true.

This election really IS the most important of our lifetime. It IS between two very distinct and virtually opposite views of what the United State should be (or become). Should we follow those attributes set by our forefathers of this nation, who in many cases DIED to make it and us free, or conversely "fundamentally change" everything about it to reflect that which was never envisioned?

It is up to the People now. Who wants it the way we started or who wants a nanny state? Currently, we are on our way to a nanny state. We are guided by those in power currently, to let the State provide most if not all our needs, giving the ones in power MORE power as they "know better" than WE do by taxing ALL of us beyond comprehension, and regulating and slowing/oblitering/stagnating growth, while at the same time managing to destroy those whose lives depend on the freedom to start, maintain and flourish in their own, small businesses, unencumbered, ruining our nation's ability to PROVIDE FOR ITSELF - among other things too numerous to identify herein.

So,thanks again, Chuck, for the courage and honesty YOU have shown, and keep 'em coming. I, for one, agree with your viewpoint. May God help us all, and especially on Tuesday - Election Day for this once Great Nation with hope that we WILL come roaring back!

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
